hi can anyone help me?
When i try to login in to SL it just crashes the game and gives me an error msg.
funny thing is that my RL partner can log in fine on the same pc..
I have tried to clear the cache, but makes no difference
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening??

did you try putting in a sim name when you login
sometimes something borks with the location you are tying to log in at
try one of the color sims like lime or something

Try loggng in to your home location. If yur home is also the last place you logged out, type in some sim name you remember into the log on location. See if that helps. It as got me unstuck more than once |

There are files in C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Application Data\SecondLife that can be corrupted and prevent logging in. Clearing the cache alone will not repair this. There will be separate folders for each user who has logged in on that PC. Being that your partner can log in, find the folder with your avatar name and delete that folder. It will be rebuilt when restarting. Or alternately the entire SecondLife folder, which will also be rebuilt upon logging in.

Try landing on your Home Point.............If that doesnt work take all folders related to sl out of your computer and reinstall. If that doesnt work file a ticket with support.
