I've seen some snapshots that were extremely close up but I've been unable to zoom in that tight. Can someone please tell me how that's done? Thanks, L

You can use your mouse and holding your ALT key down zoom into almost anything. Have you tried that?

Besides the camera controles, you can <Ctrl>-0 (control zero) to zoom in. You can do this 6 times. <Ctrl>-8 zooms out. <Ctrl>-9 resets the zoom to normal. Note that these do not move the camera, they change the zoom. You see what I mean when you use them.

Tiana, I "thought" I tried that but, you know there are a lot of keys that I could have done instead Yosef , thanks! I did not know you could use that more than once. Both great and I'll try them when I get home. Thanks so much for your help. L

You will never look back once you suss zooming with your camera. Its very liberating! When I arrive at a store I step aside from the TP point so no one lands on my head ( though if the incoming is a cute He I may step back again) and then I use my camera and case the whole store! You can bring up another menu along the top of your "browser" in the Second Life client by pressing CTRL ALT D, it gives you more options along the top, I am not inworld right now so can't double check but under one of those you can uncheck the camera distance limit so when you really have this baby licked you can cam whole sims if thats what pleases you

LOL Tiana - Camming around kicks my tushie...maybe I go too fast? but it seems suddenly I'm "WTH am I?" Really, I'm just wishing I could zoom in really really close on even someone standing nearby. (Hopefully, y'alls tips will help that.) I will keep trying to cam around because it would save a lot of time shopping, etc. Thanks!

The rough thing is when you become so dependent on using Alt to zoom in and then your keyboard starts acting up and half the time it doesn't work. I am so lost when it doesn't work; it is like I've lost part of my basic function.

I had never tried ctrl zero before for close ups...seems to be steadier than mouse zooming...better for taking pics, thank you!
