Lost or Stolen?

I had a surfboard that I set out for my group members to use. It wasn't deeded to the group, it was just set to it.
A few days ago it turned up missing. I searched my lost and found. Nothing.
Can a group member 'steal' an item like that? Or did it get gobbled up by the asset server or something?

If the object was a physical vehicle it is entirely possible someone hit it with another physical object and propelled it to who knows where. Used to happen all the time to us with a swan and a couple elevators. I usually found them around300M up in the sky on the edge of the property |

They can swim away with it. And YES they can take it. It gives a warning not to take it or it will be no mod and may not work right, but I have had it happen often. Give me an IM in game and I will replace the surfboard.

And the really strange thing is, that I lost the other board that I had in inventory too. I never even used it! So I went ahead and bought the surfboard vendor from Heather Goodliffe just so I could get the rental board to set out. (Although I might set the wave vendors out too, if I can find the proper place.) But how about making a group rezzing board dispensor? |

I have a rickshaw I made and of the two versions one was global or rather anyone could use it as the runner while another would sit. I had both versions in a area that was bordered (thought high enough lol). I checked in one morning to find the global rickshaw gone.  . So if any happens to see an abandoned rickshaw I'd love to retrieve it. |

(Heather and I) We do have a group vendor boards. If you have ever been to The Weather Channel sim you find surfboards that are given for free. They can only be used on that sim. We also have a new system Heather made that is much like the "surf party" board system (try it at Primworks) ... We also updated the boards for Havok4. Bottom line is, there are many places to surf for free. You dont have to buy anything. IM me and I will be happy to provide details about the group board vendors.
