I have a sort of LAND question again…but it’s relevant to my alt account, which is this one.
I noticed some one mentioned that it’s a good idea to have an alt that would have privileges to your land.
If I have land, can I set all “controls/land rights/privileges” to my alt account that I use the majority of the time?
This is done in groups?

I got the 503 posting this so I hope there is no duplicates..

I believe that's how it works.

The easiest way to control land with your alt is to make them an OWNER in the land group. This basically gives the alt all rights to the land.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

But - from bitter experience - if you deed your land to a group, and you reset auto return, all your existing buildings and other objects on that land will get auto-returned if you're not very careful.

Another question on alts and land groups. I know most people would want their alt(s) not known as such. If you make a group and deed the land to it so you could set it as home for the alt for instance, could the group still be invisible, that is, not show up in search or in your profile? Would the group have to be active to be allowed to set your home location and would this make a title appear over your head necessarily?

Yes to most of your questions I think ;)

In your Alt's 'Group Info' window about that group, you can un-check 'show in profile'. It shows to your Alt in their profile, but not to others (verify with your Main).

In the group settings you could set the Title for the Role that the Owner has to be something innocuous like 'Member' so it won't be obvious which group they're currently in.

And, yes, you need to have the group active to set home location.
