I have used the Windlight viewers with Nicholaz for a while now, just because they seem to rezz things quicker. But both the latest viewer and the one before had one big annoyance for me and I wondered if anyone else had encountered it. Right click your av when wearing underpants or undershirt and try to TAKE OFF CLOTHES - MORE. They don't show up!! All Clothes is there but nothing else. And now the new viewer has added a new twist. Trying on clothes this morning I find several skirts (not flexi just basic skirts) don't show up or go invisible when I go into APPEARNCE. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Oh, and a third annoyance. The club where I work has two dance balls - pale pink one and light blue one - myself and others have found they turn black when running Windlight. I've gone to Edit and the colour is actually black not the colour it should be.

The underwear are there, but the labels are gone. If you remember which pie piece is where, you can still remove them. Also, in edit in the top menu, you can remove clothes, too.

The skirt problem is back?! Oy! Well, I found that by going into appearance with the skirt on and taking it off, then wearing it again after exiting appearance sometimes caused the skirt to become visible again. Or taking it off, going into appearance and then putting it on. There was no rhyme or reason, but I felt that if I kept poking the client/server, I could make the skirt finally show. I could never quite make sense of it, since it doesn't always work the first time.

As to the mysterious apparition of black on pink and blue things...I hope someone knows the answer, I sure don't; I've never seen it.

The black instead of pink or blue may be because of the "shine" on the object. Try reducing the shininess in your settings and see if that helps you.

I do not know the answer to the no clothes question...all I can say is to have fun!!

No, its not you. I had undershirt and underwear issues myself. After clearing my cache three times and making a new "nude" outfit, I finally got it to work properly. They should not force a new viewer on you unless it works BETTER than the old one.

I know. I am complaining about a beta viewer, but the standard viewer crashes constantly on my laptop. WL is the only one I can use that does not crash due to video issues. My fear is that they will fix WL and force the new version on us. Then, I will be left with a viewer that crashes.

LL... Please do break WL while fixing it!

That I noticed in the last revision. What I was saying was that my underlayers would not come off even with "Take ALL off".

Known problem, been around a while.
The work around I use is open up Inventory and type in "worn" on the search line.
That way, you can quickly find what you are wearing. You can right click the item in inventory and take them off that way.

Thanks to everyone for the tips and advice. I've looked at the link https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3948 and from the comments on there from residents and Lindens it looks as though the problem is fully documented and located. There is a Linden working to cure the problem, which is that the new viewer doesn't flag u are on the adult grid, and assumes u are on the Teen Grid, where u can't remove underclothes!!
