Since our last update, I've noticed that I can't select more than one friend or group to send an IM to. In the past, I was able to select multiple individuals and send what was called a 'Conference' IM. Is there a setting that has to be activated in this last update? Or has this option been eliminated?

You can still do this by calling cards.

Calling Cards? Where can I find them or how do I set them up?

It works, but only for those who are on line at the time.

Thanks for the replies. I'm now wondering if that always was the case regarding having to be online to send a conference IM. More than likely,, it was! Thanks again!!!

Hold SHIFT while clicking online friends you want to participate in a conference.
click and hold CONTROL to remove the people you do not want in the conference.

Thanks for the info. I know about holding the shift key to select multiple friends. What I forgot was that they had to be online to do so!

No. I'm still using the pre-voice viewer and I am able to select anyone on the list for conference, online or not. I don't know if it will actually send to offline people as I haven't tried to do that.

Hi,
I think it would be great to IM all/selected Friends at one time, whether or not they are in-world. My reason is that I will go on RL vacation soon and won't be on SL for a while, and it would be great to tell everyone without sending dozens of IMs.

I think there is a maximum of 5 friends you can IM at the same time... I too would like to an 'IM to list' feature.
