First off I'm new and am trying to sort everything out. You all seem very helpful, so I have a question. I've been reading about the changes in adult themed land and had a question. So what if you have no existing land, will you be able to buy land on the the continent? I'm not sure that I will/would, but I like to know all my options. I didnt see this anywhere, so hopefully it hasn't been asked. Thanks for your time. :)

Once the transfers are done for people who currently own land they are doing adult things on then they will put some more of the continent up for auction and normal people will be able to buy it.

Some people are just totally certainly land prices on the new adult continent will be outrageously high and some people are just totally certain that no-one at all will buy it and the land market will crash very low.

Myself, I'm not so certain about anything.

The new adult continent, named Zindra, has not opened yet, so no one can buy land there. If you just want to buy a little parcel for your own house/garden/whatever as long as it doesn't have blatant sex poseballs all over the place, you're fine buying land on any of the other continents.

Welcome to SL!

After everyone who needs to move is settled they do plan to auction land in this new continent. There are some worries that the prices will be much higher then existing mainland.

S has already been said, unless you want to indulge in 'extreme' activities in open view settle for a nice 512 plot on the mainland as a starter. Prices (at auction) are low right now! Go grab a bargain.

Eventually yes, but that may be a good while from now.

If you can, set up on the mainland in the meantime; you might not want or need the full adult verified thing.

Remember, if you have friends that aren't verified they won't be able to visit you there.

NORMAL People? ... How did those sneak in? I doubt any of those "normal" folk will be able to afford the land prices once they're gobbled by the land barons at auction.
