Ok so I own Size 16384sqm land, its in my name ( Im renting it from another member I do not have a premium account) And I have set that land to a group, all the members of that group are people I trust, people I want to be able to place down prims. I use my group as a way to allow who can run scrips, who can create prims on my parcel and who can drag prims onto my parcel. The problem is now those member are being charged:
Saturday Apr 25, 2009
Parcel Directory Fee -30
Group Liability 30
Total 0
And I get this every week!
Yet It says:
Total Contribution: 0 sq. meters
Total Land in Use: 0 sq. meters
Land Available: 0 sq. meters
Your Contribution: 0 sq. meters( 0 max)
Now I looked up the pages on how to set the contributions and it says if you make it 0 on Your Contribution: 0 sq. meters( 0 max) then hit apply, ok, and close it, then re-open your window to make sure its zero then it should work, the thing is thats not working. And my members are actually being charged.
This was not a problem before...
I did it before and no one was charged, The same group but a previous land that had to close down. I had a smaller land set to group just so only group members could place down prims and run scripts, but since I moved my shop to this place the charges started and have continued every week.
I want to set the land to group and not charge everyone. What do I do?

This has nothing to do with land contribution but with listing the parcel in search (that costs 30 L$ per week as parcel directory fee). This fee has to be payed by the land owner, if the land is group owned by the group that owns it. It seems you didn't only *set* the land to the group but you *deeded* it to the group, so the group ownes it now (check ownership in "About Land"  . You can: a) not list the land in search (About Land --> tab "options" --> checkbox "show place in search.." or b) if you want it listed in search but no others having to pay for it, make sure that only the group role "owner" has to pay for group liabilities (Group Information --> tab "members&roles" --> subtab "roles" --> highlight group roles --> field "allowed abilities" --> uncheck "accounting - pay group liabilities and receive ...". |
