IMs from objects

Hi all, I'm certain that this has come up and I just can't put together the right combination of words to find it in search.

A friend of mine used to work in a club and handed out little titling attachments as part of her job. When the titler rezes it says something like "Welcome to ____" to the wearer using llOwnerSay.

Except apparently one of them hasn't picked up on the fact that she's no longer the owner. She gets IMs sent via email several times a day when she's not logged on.

She's got no idea who owns it now, she apparently gave out lots of these things. She's tried muting it but that doesn't seem to work - possibly because each time it rezes it gets a new UUID?

Is she doomed to getting regular IMs until the wearer decides that they're tired of the titler or is there something that she can do?

Thanks

If she turns on "IM to email" then she'll be able to find out the owner of the device, and it's location, the next time it IMs her while she's offline.

Kind of a complex set of things to do, but basically, set up her account so her IMs go to her email when she's offline.. then wait and see if it Ims her overnight. Eventually she'll get one in her email, and the owner's name will be listed there.
