Immersive Language Study in SL

Are there any SIMs out there which are devoted to a certain language for learning where everyone rps in that language rather than just idle chat? Like a school rp or dorm rp or work rp something where you interact with other people in that language close to real life?

When I try to search the particular language I'm looking for, I just find malls or clubs, and the problem with those, just think for a moment. You are learning the "HoooHooOOoo"s and really silly talk that wouldn't be really useful. The problem with idle chat is that it doesn't last long and eavesdropping makes everyone else go o_o like in RL.

Any suggestions? I want to practice Japanese because in RL there are no Japanese people where I live, no groups to study, and no buddies to practice with. I think in SL, some kind of immersive rp would be excellent for study :3 Even if it's fantasy, you still learn some interesting words! :3

I have recently bumped into a Japanese learning club in one of the Niseko sims, though I can't give a direct SLURL at the moment. You might try your luck there.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Black Knight roleplaying sim is mostly Japanese.

One of the Geisha groups has a Japanese instructor who teaches for an hour or so once or twice a week, I think its Little Yoshiwara.

You should check out the Lorefield Institute and the Lorefield Cafe Lounge in Lilypad - they're my new neighbors. I need to go up there and investigate and mingle (they're up in the sky) but according to the land description, they offer language lessons and conversation groups, including Japanese.
