I am relatively new to SL and to this form. I have a question about clothing. Sometimes I see people with whites clothes on with black writing on the clothing. What causes this to happen?

It is the "missing image" texture. It's usually just taking a long time for the texture to load, or a problem with the asset server. Again.

I asked the same thing a good while back and was told it's a server problem. The av that has the problem actually sees themselves as ok and it's only others see the 'missing texture'.
Knowing that I'd hate other ppl to see me that way I make a point of trying to help them by suggesting they rebake - ctrl/alt/R - to pull the missing textures down off the LL servers again. Hopefully someone will do it for me when/if it happens.  |

OK thanks. I haven't been able to read the writing on the clothing so wasn't sure what was going on.
