My Dell Dimension 2400 has an Intel 82845G chipset.
Am I supposed to upgrade drivers on that from the Intel website?

Have you considered asking Dell or Intel? Or am I missing the way in which your question is related to SL?

I will do that first, I was just wondering in relation to SL.
When I am in SL in the new Candidate release, I can't see other people's avs unless I am standing right next to them.

In my experience, it needs to come from Dell. It has been this way for me with just about any intigrated GPU they use whether laptop or desktop does not matter.

If your card is on a seperate board, however, you can get the drivers from either Dell or the chip maker. So either way ... just get it from Dell :)

Thank you. I had an online chat with a Dell rep yesterday and he said I don't need to update my chipset. It gets updated automatically when Windows does its automatic updates.
