i cant get rid of a menu off my screen :(

a lock door script menu came up on my screen and now i cant get rid of it , i've clicked ignore ..logged on and off several times but its still there ,which means i cant see any group notices ,cant accept tp's, can't use any other menu's or anything that pops up on the top right hand of my screen it's driving me mad, does anyone know how to get rid of it ,please

Are you able to see this only at your home - where the 'locked door' is? Or does it follow you everywhere, even after touching 'ignore'?

Rule the First: Clear cache, clear cache, then clear cache again.

Remove all attachments as well. It's possible that somehow somewhere you were looking at the door script and accidentally dragged it to a prim that you're wearing.

Sunnie, I think you should try want Oryx suggested. Go to a secluded place, get nakies, use detach all, then press ignore. Relog.

I had this problem the other day. And it was quite annoying. Did everything I could do to get rid of it (log off, log on, clear cache, log into my alt that I never use, log off after seeing that the problem didn't occur with the alt, and then log into "me", turn off and turn on computer; turn off computer and go to sleep for 8 hours, turn on computer . . aaaah). That menu followed me everywhere, and kept loading itself, so if I didn't keep hitting ignore, I'd get a huge pie of menus sitting on top of each other. I could never keep up. It appeared right where the other pop-up menus appear, and so I couldn't do anything that involved a menu (like buy stuff).

The problem lasted two days. I wish I could help, but nothing I did fixed it. It just disappeared on its own at the end of the second day.

hmmm, Reset scripts?

edit object :-> tools -reset scripts in selection

ontop of the dialog, it gives a avatar name and object name in " "
is it under your name?
if you know the exact object by the object name and where it is, you can reset it or delete it and relog and if on an island, ask the owner to restart the sim (just to be 100% sure it`s gone)

that item is spamming you and just tested with multiple dialogs, reloging clears them so every time you login again, it spams you all over again (just tested to be 100% sure)

if that fails or the dialog shows another person then your self, get in touch with support

In Soji's case, the menu came from him clicking on a chair at the place-that-cannot-be-named. That chair gives a menu to allow you to change the texture.

The menu comes up if you accidently hit it. I wasn't trying to change the texture. I do not know Laura Ashley.

Probably has and I just did not notice. I do not normally know who is who in the fashion world. Twee floral fabrics, eh? No, I would not have sought out and acquired said fabrics, so I would not have noticed if she has invaded the New World.
