I've set up an in-sim teleport network with six teleport/arrival pads. Each pad contains a notecard with the precise locations of all the other pads in the network. If a pad is moved, all of the notecards have to be updated with the new position information.
To avoid having to do this every couple of days, I Locked the teleport pad objects to prevent their being moved. But, when I did this, the "Share Object With Group" box went un-checked.
My question: If I now enable autoreturn on the land, is my teleport network going to fly back into my Lost and Found Folder? if so, what should I do to keep people from moving the pads, other than Locking them?

First, why do the pads need to be Share'd with Group ?

Share isn't necessary--selecting the right group for the objects is enough to prevent them being auto-returned

I have a server-based teleport system in beta that just relies on reloading the positions at the server, not at each pad. IM me in-world if you'd like to test it out.
