Hi, i have squatters who dont speak english. I would like to give them a polite notice before taking furtrher action, and would like to know if anyone is able to translate the following:

My understanding is that Brazilian Portuguese is somewhat different than European Portuguese (at least that is what my Brazilian and Portuguese friends tell me).

It had some diferent terms but in general is almost the same, I know because although I'm portuguese living in Portugal I work for a brazilian bank

Since most Americans seem to think Brazilians speak Spanish, it'd be a whole lot easier if they'd all just learn that and be done with it.

And when people thinks that Portugal is a spanish province? That makes me mad lolol Even today Spain is a kingdom made by several diferent provinces but Portugal has its independence since 12th century, before we were also a part of Castilla kigdom but we had only 1/4 of the actual size, on the 100 years after we get back all our land from the sarracens
