I was yacking today with a friend about my lack of sales. Usually I at least get a few sales even on slow days. She said she isn't buying anything at all until the inventory issues are straightened out. Is she alone? I know update times usually scare people, but its been 3 days now... How has other people's sales been?

This week wasn`t an update week; it was a routine maintanence week. I don`t know what the issue is, unless it is simple server overload.

From: Llauren Mandelbrot This week wasn`t an update week; it was a routine maintanence week. I don`t know what the issue is, unless it is simple server overload. Most people don't know the difference. Something changed is all most users understand. Anyway I wanted to see if the inventory problems people have been talking about has effected sales for anyone else... not diverge into a technical debate of the nature of the actual change. The inventory problem has been going on for a couple months now, so I am not necc. talking THIS week specifically.

From: DolphPun Somme Most people don't know the difference. Something changed is all most users understand. Agreed. Apologies for thinking that you were one such. From: DolphPun Somme Anyway I wanted to see if the inventory problems people have been talking about has affected sales for anyone else... Not for me. I don`t sell enough for it to byte me. I don`t buy much anyway, so this hasn`t affected me that way, either. From: DolphPun Somme not diverge into a technical debate of the nature of the actual change. Fair enough. From: DolphPun Somme The inventory problem has been going on for a couple months now, Indeed it has, though I don`t recall any problems personally. From: DolphPun Somme so I am not necc. talking THIS week specifically. I though you were when you said "three days"! How was I to know otherwise? : hrug:: Well, good luck to you and your friend.

I know several people who are reporting record low sales. Unfortunately there is no real way to determine the cause and there are several likely factors, but it's interesting to note that many people have strong suspicions that it is at least in part due to low consumer confidence in the platform. Speaking from my own point of view, I can tell you that I personally am done buying anything that's no-copy until I have confidence that inventory issues are resolved, and I'm still wary about items that I *can* copy
