Help with Gestures and audio

Hiya all! I've driven myself crazy with this and I can't seem to figure it out.

When creating a gesture, I go to add a SOUND and that works fine. The drop down of sound choices has 2 sound files in it that I uploaded. That's fine.

What I want to do is use audio files I have aquired in SL but I cannot seem to find a way to have them show up in the drop down sound list. I though perhaps the file must exist in the SOUND folder in inventory so I copied a few files to that folder. When I hit the drop down sound option in genstures, I can still only choose one of the two files I uploaded.

What am I missing? Can you ONLY use files you upload yourself? The files I aquired in SL are free permissions so that's not the issue. Any thoughts? I'd greatly appreciate it

You need full perms. So mod, copy AND transfer have to be all allowed.
