How often do you check your PM's?

I was just sending an PM to someone and noticed I had a message from about a week ago (Luckily they contacted me in-world too).
Made me realize that unless I sent one to someone, I don't check that often.
So just wondering? How often do you check your PM's here?
I check about once a week or so unless I have sent one or more out recently, then I check every time I load a page on the forums.

I get notified in my email and I'm online nearly all the time during weekdays due to being at work. At home, computer is on a lot of the time too, so, I get them pretty much immediately. No need to "check".

When the pop-up pops up I always check mine right away, except when I'm multi-tasking in which case I won't see the pop-up pop up.
When I do get the pop-up and go to check I get the message in a pop-up, which annoys me no end because I have pop-ups disabled, so I then have to click on a pop-up to open the pop-up.

I check my forum PM's pretty much daily, and get a pop-up when a new one arrives. I check in-world IM's several times a day.

Also, if you use the User CP to see a quick list of subscribed threads with new posts, it will put any new PMs at the top. |
