When I click and edit my things on my land I see (???) where the group tags name shold be. When I deed an item after I deed it it should have my group name instead it's showing the question marks on every single item on my land.
When I try to turn the station on my radio it says browsing... but nothing comes up.
So, I cleared my cache but in prefrences on the section "web' they have a browser cache and a way to clear it such as you do the regular cache. What exactly is this for? Does this have anything to do with the 2 paragraphs above?
Thanks for any help

This ??? happens in Group things "a lot" - quite "a lot". It's just SL being slow. I'm so used to it, I ignore it.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Ok, thanks.
But what does the browser cache do when you use it? It's in prefrences on the "web" tag. I know about the other cache but not this one.
Anyone know?
Thanks

If someone provides a URL in the web tab of their profile, you can view the web page right there in the profile window. I would assume the browser cache is the web page cache, just like your normal web browser.

Sounds very much like ServerSide lag. As objects that are set on a sim are stored on the sim server along with their descriptions. The group information is held on another asset server relating to actual avatars, simply because avatars are not static, along with your inventory. When you drag something from your inventory, it is transfered and stored on the Sim servers in the definitions database.

And apparently the SL grid is able to cope with the increase load on it ... ***looks at friends list*** ***looks at group name*** ***tries to look at SL but struggles with the lag*** yeah it's all working fine ... come on - give the server a helping hand and feed it some steroids or something
