I had same issue with my first account over 4 years ago but i didn't stay for long.
I have lost my password, land,etc since the account was in beta.
I tried to write customer service from the email the account was in but not much answers came from it.
If I get a response I will let you know.

If you reactivate your account within 60 days from cancellation, you should find your avatar and belongings intact inworld... After that delay, consider it defunct and gone forever. Sorry |

You may still be able to get the name back, but after 60 days your inventory gets purged. That is why I would never cancel the account, just drop it to basic and leave. You can always come back again that way.

I have a friend that reactivated an old account as well, he ended up having to call Linden Labs to do it though.

Hey Andie! Some folks have regained old accounts, but I believe it takes some string-pulling, and all you get is the name. Unfortunately, the inventory would be gone.

I also had a friend reactivate an Old account, LL said she was Lucky to get it back (It had been closed for only two months) What was not so lucky was, they were not able to restore either her Lindens or her Inventory.
Unfortunately, the Longer Data on a Drive (Your Avatar) sits in the "Free space" catagory, the less likely it will be recoverable as parts of it, or the whole does get Overwritten.
Wait too long and it will be Unrecoverable.

I recently canceled my account and don't know what to actually do to get it back. I am aware of the price and will pay it...but I don't see any reactivation button. Also, call me stupid, but I am not sure of how to E-mail the lindens. Someone please help...I don't want Kuro to die |

Try calling billing, from the support site:
"You can also call our Billing team at the following numbers:
800-294-1067 toll-free (US/Canada)
703-286-6277 long-distance (not free)"
Basic as well as Premium can do this 24 hours a day supposedly.

GO throught the support portal. File a ticket and see what happens. I had billing issues that support took care of. Try it it does work. For those that dont know, use your present account to login to the portal or make a new account ( even those non payment online account can use too ). It will take a few hours but they do answer and take care of matters and issues. Good Luck Usagi |
