My opinion is that it is a bigger waste of time than any of the super super low paying inworld jobs.
Just like RL, there is no easy way to make much money. _____________________

I done many tests and get meta points, but playing games you lost everything ![]() Don't do it, please. When I was first in SL I looked into that stuff - and they ask your RL info but some checking around proved that they often A. never pay you B. misuse your RL info Don't do it. Check Classifieds in these forums (secondlife.com forums) and in Second Life search engine. _____________________

- Buy a different less expensive hair shampoo and conditioner.
- Buy bread from a bread store factory, not the grocery store - Save all your change in a jar or something And then take all the money you have saved in a week or 2 or 4, and put that money into SL and have yourself a good time. For a great way to get money into SL: www.greendotonline.com - The credit card comes in under 7 days, no credit checks, completely secure, and you can add money to it at walgreens, cvs, etc, all over the U.S. (if you are in the U.S.). Good luck! There is no easy way. If you want something, you have to work to get it. _____________________

all over the U.S. (if you are in the U.S.). I think she has said in another thread that she's not in the U.S. I still like Argent's suggestion of starting a local candy speciality mail order business in exchange for Lindens. I had friends who went overseas when the first of those new Star Wars movies came out, and they made a fricking killing selling mini tins of spaghetti from the UK with Star Wars labels on them to North American geeks. In under a month, they made enough for a three week trip to South Africa! |

I remember when this first came out when I saw you post this. So I went to the site and checked it out again. I had signed up the first time because I thought it was a cool concept. So this time I tried a few of them. It was actually sort of fun because you have to sort of play detective on which ones are junk in terms of how much time you need to put in vs how much the hit pays. It is also kind of funny in that alot of them are just you doing other people's homework. And offensive in that some people ask quite a bit for next to nothing. Then there are the cleverly disguised spammers that want your email. I did notice that there is some pretty good money offers for translators. But probably not compared to what one would get in person. All in all if you have a job making between 8 -10 dollars an hour in most cases your better off than doing this. I could see you would really have to hustle to make ten bucks in an hour unless you qualify for one of the specialty skills. _____________________

I guess the question, Annna, is what do you feel you need the money for?
There are many free items in-world - clothing, hair, all sorts of toys, and there are plenty of places to go that don't cost a thing. The sort of Lindens that you will be earning "for free" aren't going to pay for anything substantial (like land). Most of the free Linden stuff is a scam, outside of money trees and camping - both of which earn you very small amounts of money, relative to what you could easily spend in-world. I think that if you're not willing to do some work for your lindens (like create something that can be sold, or get a job - and I'm not talking about just standing around - I mean actually WORKING), then you are going to be much better off bringing in money from outside into SL. _____________________

I remember when this first came out when I saw you post this. So I went to the site and checked it out again. I had signed up the first time because I thought it was a cool concept. Are you sure that was me? I'm not sure I have posted this here before. To be honest, I remembered checking it out ages ago because someone else here posted it, and hadn't been back since then. I used Google to find and post it yesterday. If I did post it before, it was the same kind of thing - saw it, thought it might be useful, and passed it on. (Just like many SL jobs) I think the big appeal is if you're stuck at home on the computer and can't work at a real job, you can make enough in dribs and drabs to trickle inworld and buy a few L$. It's been a year or so since I even looked at the jobs posted, but at the time the ones that bugged me were the ones that appeared to be seeding or spamming blog commentss and review sites. That seemed dishonest to me, more on the part of the person offering the job than on the part of the person doing it. The other big appeal to me is that it appears to be on the up and up - if you do the job, you will get paid for it, and not become the target of spam central (as long as you choose jobs wisely) - unlike a lot of the 'surveys for lindens!!1!!' sites. _____________________
