This is the situation...buddy of mine was threatened by a disgruntled ex group member we had to boot for various harrassment issues with a HUD based weapon that, this guy claims, can prevent you from ever being able to log in again using your current name.
Now, I know this guy, he is a total scumbag, and I'm 99% sure he is just ranting.
But still.....can such a thing be made?

though there ARE ways that he could make your SL experience so miserable that you wouldn't ever be able to log into SL using that name, without a flood of annoyances, IMs, inventory offers, spam, etc.

However, you have a very good weapon to "prevent him from ever logging into SL again"...........it's called Abuse Report. With chat logs if you have them. |
