You know that image that you see while you log in? Like.. one of the last ones that you see while you're logging out, usually doesn't actually look like anything you saw exactly? (At least this is the case for me..)

Trying to log in (I know not workin to well in general), and the image I have is one of my av about 2 weeks after I started Sl... even with the bunneh ears.. and in the club I had a long time ago...

how long do those images stay?

That must have been a trip! Actually i thought those snapshots were generated and stored locally. I log on from two computers... they each have their own logging-in screenshots. So , beats me... but yeah that must have been a neat pic to see, huh?

Hmm, there's nothing really helpful there, but thanks for pasting.

There are two images stored. Your "Last Location" image, which changes every time you log out. And your "Set Home Here" Image, which is only updated when you change where you set home. You can only see the Set Home Image if you log in using the StartLocation: option set to either "My Home" or you type in a region name. I"m betting you used one of the two :) Same happened to me recently. I saw my newbie AV on her first land, probably as I was setting home there over a year ago hehe.

I have been seeing a very old image from almost 10 months ago when I login. This only started in the last few weeks. Previously, the login image was the last one I saw when I "Quit" from the day before. So, I do not understand why I'm seeing the same image from so far back? I'm going to go with the "it must be a glitch".

My log-in screen is from about a month ago. And about 30 seconds after I log-in SL crashes. It's been doing that for about a week. I'm finally getting around to looking into it. The first couple of times I just chalked it up as bad timing. But now it's happened four or five different days, several times in a row each time.

Currently I'm downloading a new copy of the Second Life app. Although I have the same exact version installed (Mac OS X, SL vrs. 1.18.3.5). It's not like I have an old or out of date version.

Anyway, that's my situation.

Hated the pic I always saw for my home location. Just set your home to another location. Then go back to your original home location and chose it as your home setting. Did it a couple of months ago and can't remember now if you have to log off and then back on to set the final location as home. hth
