A few minutes ago i was offered free land (30.000 m2) by someone.

All i needed to do was to accept an object called 'SIM object' and i would get the land for free......

I don't trust this.....
Does anyone know more ....?

There is no reason to accept that. You can easily right click and Buy the land for zero lindens or one linden.

I wouldn't trust it either, I bet you wouldn't get the land and it would end up costing you your balance.

With such a Sim object, I could own all of SL - for cheep!!

Sounds like a scam if he wont sell it to you using the normal land selling interface for 0L$
Anyway, how could land be in an object?

So, i am not the only one that does not trust it.....

Another thing is that he has a different name as the land-owners (group).
He answered to my question about that it is his 2nd avatar .... he gave me his 1st av name but that does not exsist acc to the search ....

So i am pretty sure he is a cheater.

I have send an abuse report to LL; see what happens.

Just ask him why he wants to transfer it by an object rather than the normal land sales tools.
Also ask him how an object can transfer it (I dont think theres a script command that can do that, and land certainly isnt made of prims).

PS NEVER give debit permisions to an object ever.

That's a pretty safe assumption.

There are no script commands that will allow an object to perform a land transfer.

There is no way with any of the tools in world to transfer land from one person to another without using the normal land transfer system built into the client.
