So I go to see one of the musicians I enjoy on SL. love the live music scene.. so yea look over the fact it is listed 3 times in events (same show same times 2 of the same listers) tp to the place.. SLAM BANG 3 blue screens on my puter screen.. do you wanna join, thank you for coming and some other one I didnt even bother to read... the BAN an IM spam!! omfg.. ok click off click off. you know. hell no im not joining your group you freakin spammer group. Bad enough you dont feel you have to go by the rules everyone else does in event postings!!

So its a PG sim, ok.. I can deal with it for the singer... augh a child ava.. giggles giggles hi daddy... omg.. LAG cite! omg Im out of there.......

I'm on my alt right now, I went to a place for the MM board, and then window over here to post in a thread.

I window back, and I had a good 100 landmarks for the place in my inventory...

I honestly do not mind 1 little spam you know, but when you are assulted in such a way.... It is mind blowing. Do they not realize how much people HATE this?? and WONT return??

I also hate being spammed when I land at a place.

Business owners, give me a sign so I can join your group by touching it, and a sign if you have some unusual rules. Please do not try to give me anything or ask me to click on dialog boxes.

I'll tolerate *one* blue message window, and only if I really like the place. You spam me, and I'm gone forever.

The ones that annoy me are the club groups that spam their members constantly during an event. I can understand a notice that an event it starting, and a follow on notice when the event is going strong. But spamming every 5 minutes with "come here, IM all you friends and beg them to come too" just smacks of desperation. I don't hang out in desperate clubs.

I don't like being spammed. I like the option of having landmarks & info about a place put inside prims you can click on if interested.

And club dj’s, don’t send me a blind tp!
If you cant fill a room without sending blind tp’s then find another gig.

I worked at a club for about two or three months that encouraged me so spam. Their theory was that they had lost members due to internal drama. After awhile, it occurred to me that maybe a lot of people weren't coming or had left the group because they were getting annoyed.

This. I never accept blind TP's from anybody. Not even my friends. I've also removed and muted some friends when the relationship deteriorated to the point where they only kept me on their list so they could keep sending me unwelcome blind TP's.

I hate when people friend you and you think it's because they find you interesting and then they spam you with blind tps.

My first job in SL was as a dancer, and on the first night the boss is yelling at us in employment group that we have to each tp in 4 friends....I told him I had no friends because they all removed me for blind tping. He didn't like me after that lol.

LOL.. Did he fire you? You know how there are Power Trips in SL with some club owners.. lol
