I miss them, but honestly, I don't think they'll be back. The thumbnails were often showing things that didn't belong in PG areas, and they were removed to prevent people getting "flashed" when they visited the blog. I have to admit, I raised an eyebrow at a few things I saw pop on there, and I understand why it's a headache LL doesn't want to deal with.

If there's not any plan for moderation of that photoset, I think the thumbnails are gone for good.

I reckon you hit the nail on the head there. That's probably the very reason why they're gone. The pool is supposed to be moderated btw, but given the number of pics posted, it's probably impossible to keep up.
I can't see the thumbs coming back to be honest.

Ya, I thought it was nice to have the regular thumbnails -- but like ya said, too many people sent their nekkid piccies there. :-/
