Hi,
Has anyone here successfully made Sculpted prims from Maya and or Lightwave?
By this, I mean taking an existing model and editing it to bring into SL as Sculpted prims?

Since this post is at risk of drifting off the front page... and I have no clue of an answer (the viewer only taunts me with squashed cucumbers where sculpties might one day rez)...
I'd suggest re-posting this on the Building Tips forum, /8/1.html, where lots of very, very patient folks talk about sculpties with such enthusiasm one might think they actually see some sometimes. (Sorry. It's not just sculpties, although those have always been slow. But image downloading in general seems to just keep getting slower and slower, regardless of client connection bandwidth. What's up with that, anyway?) |

I've used amorphium.. its a great package, powerful, easy to use and a LOT cheaper than Maya.

It would be a good thing for folks wanting to learn about Second Life to take a while and look through all a bunch of the forums here - skip past the linden ones, check out all the content creation forums, and a number of the rest.
