CAUTION: It depends what permissions you gave your members. There is an unclearly worded box that when checked means your members get paid on proceeds. Make sure it is unchecked before selling. Not inworld to give you what the exact box is you need to uncheck.

I can't remember the exact wording either, but it's something like Ability to Receive Dividends.

Every person with the "Pay Liabilities" role permission checked for any group role that they belong to will get an EQUAL split of the sale price, about a day after the sale goes through. By default, "Pay Liabilities is active for the "Everyone" group, so if you don't change that, and if there are 100 people in the group, each of you gets one percent of the sale price.

For me, I put the group land for sale to only myself (not everyone) for $1L, then sold it as myself to a third party.

From: Stephen Zenith I was going to suggest that, but you do need to be careful about paying double tier for the month by accident. The easy way around that is to 1) Remove tier contribution from the group 2) Sell the land to yourself 3) Ensure that there is adequate tier to support all remaining group land If you perform these actions within a few minutes, you will be OK to go negative on supporting tier for existing group land. Not sure on how long you may stay that way, but a few minutes is definitely OK. Thus you never have to tier up (if you can hold the land w/o the 10% group land bonus). I now did that quite often ... without any problems at all.

When selling for $0, the sell screen will not let you accidently set sale to "Anybody"... you must specify an avatar's name (like your own, for instance). If you put in sale for $1... it is doubly easy to misclick and get it stolen by a bot.
