Ya know how it goes, weekend comes and some weird stuff is bound to happen in SL.
I call myself a SL Weekend Stormwatcher because I do watch for strange occurances, and then sometimes bug report them (if they are something I think might be a bug and not just a hiccup.
So, do you also watch for the more unusual than normal things that happen on the weekend, and bug report, or heck just do snapshots?

I find it's a lot easier to look for those rare times when the weather is clear and we've got smooth sailing.
SL seems to be one big perpetual storm.

Are the weekends really any worse than other times of the week? I think not. There's always something screwy happening with something.
It's probably like how people think that more crimes are committed when there is a full moon... there are no hard stats to support the claim but people like to believe it.

More people play on the weekends, so more people experience bad things going on.
Same deal with crime. The more people you have out and about- the more mischief will be made!

I'm not a stormwatcher, but I appreciate the efforts of those who do, and then I try to keep up with whatever they post to the forums/blogs. That pesky hurricane heading into the Gulf is a different story. I'll probably be filling my gas tank and buying water, etc., tomorrow.

I don't know about crime but as a former Paramedic I can say that full moons come with 2-3 times the number of runs per night than we would have on a non-full moon. This is a result of my purely un-scientific experiences working the streets of Detroit, MI for an ambulance company
