Age Verification

I put my drivers license number into the age verification thing and after submitting it said I had been sucessfully verified but I still can't access or search adult content.

Does anyone know if it takes a while for it all to go through?

I would have thought once verified there would be a permenant message when clicking through to age verification but it just keeps taking me back to the same blank form giving off the impression that it didn't actually work.

You have to turn on Enable Adult Content from your preferences. After that, the little greyed out boxes in the search pages should work.

In Edit/Preferences, under the General tab.

You also need to enable Adult Content in the viewer (the current one, 1.23.4).

In SL, go to the Edit menu and open preferences. Select the General tab. At the bottom of that window is an option for Rating. Select PG, Mature and Adult and you should be good to go.

Assuming the verification actually worked. If you do that and still can't go to adult Regions ( test if by going to http://slurl.com/secondlife/Arapaima/129/157/24 ) or do adult searches, the verification page probably lied to you.

You can also access adult content by putting payment information on file.

Have you changed your preferences in world, open up preferences and change it from PG & Mature to PG, Mature & Adult, well it's something like that!

They really need to add that to the page that says you finished verifying....

"Now go to Edit > Preferences > General > Rating and update the setting there, and in Search tabs"

But that might encourage people to look Daniel! Then they might visit adult areas too, some would be tempted to buy things and before you know it *gasp* SL would be on the road to becoming fun again. Don't you know this is a serious platform for corporates and educational organisations?
