Need help and some advice!

For the last few days a group of my friends have been harassed by the same women. She has reported a few of us being underage getting some people account frozen (they were not underage). She did this to a friend of mine who isn’t underage (I know because we talk cam to cam all the time) but he lives in Australia and is not able to call the numbers on the sl website. Are there any other numbers for him to call or anyway he can get his account verify so he can get his account back? This person is always harassing us and we never did or say anything to her until she started being a bitch to us then we started tossing it back. If there’s any advice anyone can give to get my friends account back it would be much appreciated. I’m probably going to put the chick on mute and tell all my friends to do the same. Not sure if there is anything I can do to have sl take care of her but this crap is really getting old. Do I have anything to worry about? My account is verified already but still I’m concerned.

Your friend will have to contact the help and support people to get his account fixed. He may need to use email or normal mail so it will take a bit longer.

Even with their age verification system, if someone reports you as underage, you will probably still have to provide hard copy proof of age.

Underage Reporting in Second Life



Second Life Residents will often file abuse reports on other avatars because they suspect that the person they are reporting is underage. We read these reports and investigate whether there's any validity to the claim. If we find any information that leads us to believe that the report filed may be valid, we put the account in question on hold and request age verification by email.

In order to get the account off hold, the person with the account must provide a legible copy of a government-issued identification document (state ID, driver�s license, passport, military ID, birth certificate) that clearly includes both their name and date of birth. This is the only type of identification acceptable for establishing age eligibility. You may send your ID via email ( by replying to the initial email sent to you regarding the request), fax, or mail.

The age verification process is usually resolved within the week. We do what we can to keep your accounts valid and active on the grid.
