It's been energizing to see some of the successes that have come out of the efforts of different Sellers Guild activities. Watching how people vet problems, research for authenticity, meet with the person(s) in question first to see if a solution is possible, visit on-site with other Guild members when it's not: these have all been really great learning opportunities for me when I've had to handle things that come up in my own business.

I'm wondering if it might be worthwhile for us to take a bit of time to reflect on what's working? What is it that we're doing right? How can that be applied/success be reproduced when someone else hits a wall that we have with theft and other issues?

Just wanted to invite you to add a comment or two on what you've observed in your own experiences with the Guild when you come up against a challenge against your property? (Let's please leave the names out of it, and just talk about the types of things we're doing that are working).

I know watching folks like Asri go in with a great deal of diplomacy, Feri deal with things head on successfully, Zyrra's ban successes, and Dominik's navigation of the DMCA channels, it's been a great learning experience for me, and I bet there are a lot more nuggets worth distilling so we've got a better chance at being more effective collectively.

What works? What are we doing right?

Sue.
