Just a general question on logging I know its against Terms of Service to show chat logs and IM logs so doesn't that Make the logging feature useless?

But we don't show it, do we? (or at least we don't supposed to) just logging it to harddrive :P

There are a lot of reasons for using chat logging besides for nefarious ones. A lot of us use say's in script debugging for one. Another use for chat logs is meetings or classes. As long as the parties involved are aware of it. With chat logging it is just easier to keep meeting minutes. It will need to be tested but it will be really nice if it keeps the record in case we accidently crash. Go back and look at the recent transcript of the "Customer Service" round table in the blog. That is a clear example of a legitimate use for this feature.

Another use is requests for builds. I've frequently had to write down on little stickey notes the details of what I was going to be doing so that the information "persisted" from one session to the next.
