Beta Grid Land Hogs

I need to own a couple of small pieces of land on the beta grid, so I can test deeded objects. I only need 64 sqm or so, but noooooo.....

The last few times, I've not been able buy land, because some people come in, buy all the land, set ban lines to keep everyone out and log off. One group owns eight 2048 lots and there is nothing on them. Another person bought 9216 and built nothing.

This is really disrespectful of those who need to test.

Land on the beta grid should be time limited, e.g after X time the land becomes available again and you get your money back. That way if you want to keep it longer you can keep paying for it, if you stop logging in then it becomes available to others. I had an annoying bug a while ago that I tried to test but I never ever found land to do it on and no-one seemed willing to test it (it's an annoying bug rather than a damaging one) so I have no idea if it still happens or not.
