How about the following permissions as group roles system "actions":
1) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land can be paid money or bought",
2) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land can give inventory",
3) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land can push",
4) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land can use channel 0 listeners",
5) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land are never subject to autoreturn",
6) "objects (including those set to group) owned by this player on group owned land can use sensors".
1) stops people rezzing invisiprims over vendors and stealing money that way. It would also help mall owners a LOT by letting them make sure that their vendors signed up to a group before they placed objects, letting them keep much better track of their vendors.
2) stops people rezzing spammy objects on your land... eliminating whole categories of spam.
3) stops people using abusive push objects on your land.
4) stops people using spy scripts on your land, and reduces lag!
5) allows you better control over auto-return options, and ends the idea that being a member of the land-owning group entitles you to leave your objects on it. This is a major reason that stops groups being merged - you don't want to give *everyone* the right to build on your land.
6) lets you disable laggy sensor scripts on high-traffic parcels, thus reducing lag. It also stops people targetting people on your land (e.g. stalkers that use HUD radar).
How useful do people think these would be?
