I see lots of waisted screen space with the Chatter Box.
The "Friends" and "Groups" tabs really need to be moved
to the top. Just like the Edit Floater where you have General,Object,Feature,Texture,Content. maybe this can't be done do to some limit of the UI.

They still have that thing? I thought they said they were looking for feedback to improve it? Biggest improvement; remove it, or make it a separate option so we can still have our inidividual windows if we want.

Just what we need another usless feature that is in your face and not removeable. I would like to see what people are saying in chat without it taking up 1/4 of my friggin screen. Got to be one of the worst UI additions I have seen. Unless you are trying to hide other problems then it works great.

I finally had a look at the "Chatterbox".
Wow, as I suspected, I don't like it.
I prefer the separate windows, as with the current client.
I sure hope the "Chatterbox" is optional with a checkbox that we can uncheck to revert back to the "old" style.
This Chatterbox, will be a killer for any RPG within SL. The area that remains opaque is huge. If you are under attack, you won't be able to have either IM or Chat open, without worrying about being killed. With the current setup, I find myself resizing both the Chat and IM windows, so I can "safely" have them open and not suffer any consequences.
