Permission Error in 1.12

Don't know if this should be a bug report, thought it best as a topic so others could correct me if I'm wrong.

In 1.12 I rez a copy of the Dominus Shadow on someone's land. I choose 'Take' from the pie menu and get a blue pop-up in the lower-right corner telling me I don't have permissions. I drive the car to the land I purchased, choose 'Take' and all is well.

I rez a different unmovable object with no copy permissions. It is gone from my inventory. I choose take and same dialog. Owner of the land can successfully return it however. Same object on group-owned land where I'm a member I can 'Take' successfully.

I don't know whether this is a preview grid oddity or related to the new "Action" permissions.
