Well that says it all you can't delete a copy permission item that is in a no mod object. THis sort of makes more since this way. But this behaviour has changed some where along the way and was not documented. Why should you be able to edit a no mod object? Oh forgot to mention item was placed in the object by the object Allowing Inventory Drop. The only work around is a script has to be the one to delete the item in inventory. But have not tested that yet either. And Why does the object have to SHOUT, " Not permitted to edit this"? Edit: Okay I do think this is better this way. A script can delete the inventory on a no mod object. But you can't add a script that allows inventory dorp. In a way it is more secure. It is now up to the scripter to delete items, This makes it impossible for a person to break the objects. Well no copy objects can still be removed . THat is if the main script is no copy. But you still want a person to be able to take their stuff back if it is no copy. Arg! This is a though call. This needs to be added to the realease notes and the dialog box text needs to be changed or something

If I bought an object I should be able to break it. Particularly if it's copiable anyway.
I have run into this in the main grid, where I was setting up a vehicle as a prop. I want to remove all the scripts from the prop vehicle to cut down on lag. Couldn't do it.

Sometimes I go to Wal-Mart and buy the cheapest drinking glass just so I can break them. Not really. I'm seeing complaints here and there starting to popup about this change. and yes it has affected my stuff too. What a pain. More things to worry about when I get back to the main gird.

yes, i have a couple instances this is annoying, one is i have an ao that has a walk and bought a pair of shoes that included a walk and walk script. I then removed the walk and script, and it did the shout about not editing. It allowed me to take the walk out but the script keeps returning if deleted, and since is no mod I could not put the walk back in. This resulted in the shpe continuously spammy script errors. I finally had to ask the creator for a replacement shoe with script removed. Another issue was a boat I have parked on a private sim that is copy, no transfer, no mod, that has a locator beacon. Its on a private sim, I'm not going to lose it and it spams my email with locations and now cant delete the beacon script either.
