sometimes (when i shift copy something), some of the textures on it are displayed as if the texture scale is 0 on one or both axes. for example, i'm making a gradated, warty rhino-type skin. i put it on my object and adjust the texture to look right. i shift drag a copy, and SOME (not all) of the parts show as plain flat grey. SOME parts (not all) show pixel-stretched streaks on whole or just half of the texture. and some parts remain perfectly fine.
when editing the texture, all parameters are as normal (scale, rotation, etc.). adjusting the parameters makes the messed-up texture scale, rotate, and offset... without fixing the display of the texture.
teleporting out of display range and returning to refresh the draw does not fix it.
and yes, i'm using an ATI video card, and NO, its NOT updated to the latest drivers. the latest drivers have display bugs with the rc viewer that make it impossible to build. the previous drivers have display bugs, but at least i can still work with them.
