Hey, so I have been trying out the voice chat in the beta grid and it was working fine for me last week. But I came on the other day and I got a windows error saying that the SL Voice Agent had an error or something like that. Anyways ever since then voice chat has not been working. I have checked my firewall several times, I have enabled and disabled the voice chat option in world. I have restarted the game and my computer but I still don't see any active speekers listed or the dot above peoples heads when they're talking. I can hear people typing and their gestures so its not something wrong with my headphones and my mic works with other applications so I don't know whats up. Any ideas/help? Thanks

You could try reinstalling the client. They've been experimenting with different options for the voice servers recentally so it could just be that the servers are acting up.

I can't seem to get voice to work either. After that last update they did, actually, it's stopped working for me. Not sure why. I may have to do a full uninstall and reinstall again, after that if it's still not working then ??

It appears they've disabled voice grid-wide in this release other than private and group chats. Not sure if they is their way of forcing people to test the new group system or if they've broken something.

I have only gotten Voice to work 2 times, but I can log on as long as I do not enable chat.

I haven't given up, just going to wait until it's part of the main grid...........this summer/fall????

I hope the "Keep Hammering and banging on things" will be over soon.
