Well, I'm stumped. The Beta client (1.16) starts up, but when I click "Connect" it connects me to the Main Grid and not the Beta Grid. Once this happens, all the "Preferences" options appear to be those for the Main Grid (e.g., no options for Voice). I've tried uninstalling both the regular client and beta client and reinstalling them, as well as starting the beta client from the installation process, the desktop icon, the start menu, WinLauncher (and double checked that winlauncher is correctly configured) and even Windows Explorer. Still no luck.
WHAT am I doing wrong?

Try deleting your profiles, after you uninstall, before you reinstall.

Thanks, Rhyph, but it turns out that idiot boy here forgot to add the parameters to the startup... to wit: -settings settings_beta.xml --aditi -helperuri http://preview-aditi.secondlife.com/helpers/ -multiple Now, if it will just let me on  (I'm getting "Cannot connect to Version Manager" errors.)Kam _____________________
