Dear Linden Labs,

1) Most obviously the usability bug that I found was that once we started "testing" I froze in chat after 2-3 messages and was unable to hear or send anything without a relog.

2) I created a group, added people (prior to the load test), but the names returned from search even though exact were different to the names I searched for.

3) I created a role, but the second one I created didn't take.

4) I could not change my active role, the list was empty.

5) The list of members confused me as it didn't autorefresh. People joined but I didn't see them.

This list only took me about 10 minutes to find. This is not preview software. It feels like weeks away from being complete. In the business, we call it "pre-alpha". I now feel like the time I took to test this "preview" was wasting my time. I couldn't even file reports because I was freezing every couple of minutes. I gave up after 3 relogs.

Please attend to your QUALITY CONTROL. I know that I am not alone in this feeling. It seems to me that every resident I meet feel that this software is becoming less viable by the day.

Unless you deal with quality, you WILL lose our loyalty to competitors (and obviously our monthly payments). This is not a threat, it is just reality that customers will vote with their feet. Already I hear of people going off to other places.

Please don't destroy what you built, and please don't destroy what we built with you.

/esc

**edit** and yes I do have the latest graphics drivers, a matched pair of 1Gb RAM modules, a 3GHz plus hyperthreaded processor, a stunning internet connection.... AND I DID CLEAR MY CACHE!!!!! :p ***

I guess the freezing was because your sim crashed. I saw 1-2 of the sims crashing several times. The sim I was in never crashed, and I didn't freeze either. (Welcome area)

I noticed that group notices weren't archived, and the same for proposals.

Why did the sim crash? And how could I relog within 15 seconds if it had? Nope, with respect Moonshine, that was not the problem. I was in Aditi. Remember us being told to get out of welcome area to "spread the load"?

Whatever... my mini-map showed 1-2 sims down (red) quite often. I was there too.

... oh so we no longer consider sim crashes as a quality issue I guess. I stand corrected.
