• Keyboard functions sometimes work, sometimes not. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V (copy and paste) usually don't work in the inventory. The Delete key has stopped working completely in all text fields of the Edit window. Backspace works, Del not. Same key also doesn't work in the inventory, most of the time.

• When applying a texture, the menu opens at the highest inventory level in most cases and one has to click all the way down to own subfolders in the texture folder. I had other odd cases where it opened all folders containing textures at once. There's no way anymore to check which texture is currently used.

• The color picker doesn't save custom colors anymore. After you log out they're gone. Sometimes the original color palette is restored, sometimes custom colors turn to black.

• Something I already reported before the last upgrade: when you pick up a linkset from the floor, the "resell / give away" permission is gone (for the next owner). If the linkset had no other permissions, you get a prim object without any permissions at all - should be technically impossible. None of the next owner permissions is checked, "resell" is greyed out and can't be activated (only by checking and unchecking "copy";).

Those are only the few things that I personally have to fight with each day. I can understand that other bugfixes may be more important, but please think of the crafters too someday.

1.12 is based on 1.10, not 1.11

1.11 and 1.12 are parallel development efforts, and 1.11 changes will be rolled into 1.12... so the fact that 1.12 has 1.10's behavior doesn't imply that it's "fixed" in 1.12.

Argent is both correct and incorrect.

"We" have been pulling the changes made to the "release" (what is now on the Main Grid) into 1.12 on a regular basis.

By "We" I mean the project lead for 1.12.
By Regular Basis I mean it was last done right before the update on wednesday with the code that was deployed to the main grid.

In other words, all changes that are currently on the Main Grid are also in 1.12.

Seems that ever since you folks started this parallel development the amount of MAJOR bugs have have been worse and worse.

I love SL and am nearing the stage of having to tier down because of the DECREASE in sales due to LL policies regarding the LINDEN as well as the amount of SHOW stopping bugs.

I'd really like to know what you folks are going to be doing to ADDRESS some of the Quality Assurance of your code in the future.

In my experience, the more branches, the bigger the work.
I hate merging code, it's often much more cumbersome than initially thought. Esp. since the fact it compiles doesn't mean it works, and the resulting bugs are often the type that are very hard to trace.

My sympathies to the 1.12 project lead or whoever the person is, merging all the fixes in the 1.12 branch.
