Is the test grid different to the main i mean will i have 2 second lives on my pc?

The test grid is exactly that. It is not a full version. Only some sims are available, though you do not need a new account to access the beta grid (in fact, the new one CAN'T and your existing one can).
The point of beta is to test new features. The grid is wiped and reset frequently.

Well If this current beta release is any measure I say its really is a beta game. Nothing works, we are mostly naked no attachments no nothing.............I love being a beta tester  |
