i really don't like how when you edit an object's texture it no longer goes to that textures location in your inventory or library, it sucks, bring it back

I totally agree too. It's almost impossible for me to locate previously used textures in my 200 folders now. I'm also used to save several versions of a texture under a similar name - like "leather skirt black", "leather skirt red" and so on, to easily switch and save the clothes / linksets under a new name. This takes much more time now. Each change requires a dozen clicks - My Inventory --> Textures --> Own Files --> Shop --> Clothes --> Leather.... and so on. It's really annoying.

Why was this behavior even changed? Who would think to do that, and why? Is it just a bug?

It sometimes works. I wonder if this is just a bug.

It was working for a short time last night, but I just checked again now and it's not working. It also pulls up my entire inventory and not just my textures. That's a looooot of clicking to pull up a texture that used to pop up automatically.
