Do you have your sign in screen set to "last location"? If so you need to change it to "home" or "type in destination".

If you re using the normal client, press CTRL ALT G and choose Agni from the drop down menu that appears.

Control Shift G, not Control Alt G.

Same here...

I'm using the main release client (1.20.15(92456)), have it set to "home", and when I log in, I get the "home location not available" and wind up at the WA on the beta grid... I *had* the beta viewer on this system, but removed it due to lack of disk space..The viewer comes up with the red menu bar, and for all intents and purposes it *thinks* its the beta grid viewer, which is listed as 1.20.15(93532)...I'm on Linux so I'm stuck with the Linden viewers...

If for some reason shift-ctrl-G won't work for you, another way to get that grid selection menu is to go into the debug settings (while logged in I guess) and change ForceShowGrid to TRUE. It should then be there to change on your next login.

Thank you for posting this, this was the only solution that would work for me just now.

This was posted to SLDel about noon today, so by now a new Beta viewer should be posted that fixes this problem.

Per Periapse Linden:

"But I do have to give a bit of a warning about the current preview grid viewer. We discovered that it has the really nasty behavior of trashing your release viewer settings (resetting them to default) as well as making the release viewer default to logging you in to aditi, the preview grid. On the download page you can see the preview viewer is version 1.20.15.93532 -- this is the bad version. If you've already downloaded and used it, you'll need to edit your preferences all over again when you next use the release viewer. If you haven't downloaded it yet, it might be best to wait until later today when we put out a fixed preview grid viewer. Just inspect the link on the downloads page. When it no longer points to 1.20.15.93532, then it's ok to go back in the pool. I expect the new version will be 1.20.15.94xxx."

Tas

by the way, some alternative viewers are available for Linux too - here are three developers that release Linux alternative viewers, search their names on google to find downloads pages:
- Balp, aka Anders Arnholm (this was a port of Nicholaz Beresford's client)
- dale glass
- henri beauchamp
