I've enjoyed having my huge balance in the beta grid. Tonight for the first time, it's only showing 6,000 lindens. Boo hoo! Grrr!

What was supposed to happen was if you had less than L$5,000 on the main grid when the update occured, you'd get exactly L$5,000 on the beta grid. If you had more than L$5,000 on the main grid, you should've gotten your maingrid balance plus L$5,000. It didn't quite work out that way though.

If I fire up the main grid and find my real balance is 6000 - 5000 betabonus = 1000 lindens then I really will be saying boohoo and grrrr. And several other things as well. Well, let's see.... Whew, that's a relief.

Yes it was quite a surprise when I logged into the beta grid. It felt like someone raided my wallet. Granted I know the balance is only good for testing, but having a larger balance allows for more testing (at least the kind I often do on the beta grid). Hopefully this will be fixed in the next inventory update. Not to mention that the passwords will be in sync. It is a little annoying to revert to a old password for the beta grid (I recently was bit by the "we have updated our security and you have to reset your password" issue).

It's a little scary in a way.... I've always had my full balance on the beta grid in the past with previous DB snapshots, this time I don't (and what was even stranger is that it wasn't an exact number, something like L$5489). O.o
