Well, it's a minor issue, really. Since the first Preview grid was launched, the Mac users never get an auto-update to work on the preview grid anyway — except for Preview 1.11, and, until today, 1.12.

But it would be nice of you to get the preview auto-update for the Mac to work :) We now know you can do it ;)
