Steps to reproduce the bug:
-Have 2 AVs.
-Add as a friend if not already.
-Have AV "A" Grant Modify Right to AV "B"
-Have AV "B" Grant Modify Right to AV "A"
-With "A" creat box
-Click General tab edit permissions as full Mod, Trans, and Copy
-Click Content tab Click New Scrip.
-Right click the newly made script select properties
-On General Tab of script Give full permission, Mod, Trans, and Copy.
-Have AV "B" Shift Drag to copy box.
-Deselect box and select the new copy box with "B"
-Have "B" again shift Drag copy the new copy.
-you get "Copy permission failed because you lack permission to copy the object"

Observed results:
-"B"s copy says "B" is owner open content look at property of script it says "A" is owner of script in "B"s object.
-Also notice In general tab of Object the All permission boxes are checked for next owner. But the Copy and Trans Box is greyed out even though you can change them. The boxes are grey but not the words.

Expected results:With Grant modify right for both people, would expext that after a copy the newly made copy should still be editable by both parties. The newly made copy made by "B" is then owner and Contect of said object should also be owned by "B". If you have linked objects and scripts in the links that is another whole ball of wax.

Work around:
-After Shift Drag Copy or Ctrl-D take object into inventory then rez object. This will reset you as the owner and for Scripts or other item in its inventoy. Rather annoying when working and thing need to say lined up but you must take copyies rez them again line things back up agian and so on.

I CANNOT FILE THIS REPORT BECASUE THERE IS TO MUCH TEXT TO ENTER.

And just think, before we campaigned a lot, we got even fewer characters to enter our bug reports.

When this happens to me, I fill in as much as I can in the bug report window, and then say "more via email" at the end. Then I reply to the email I get from their RT system. As far as I understand, replying (and keeping the issue tag in [] in the subject line) adds more correspondence to your bug report. Maybe you can just cut around the first step and email the entire thing to bugs@secondlife.com.

As to the issue itself, I wonder if this is like the bug where a shared inventory item in a shared object is (no transfer) for other group members, and when they duplicate it, they end up without transfer rights.
