Anyone able to offer any comments or advice on wireless headsets for use with the voice chat?
The selection in the local stores is very limited. I have of course done some internet shopping but I can't tell what to get.

I'd hold off till they release the client for SL. There is some weirdness with the voice client at times- one version detected the headphones connected to the front speaker, the latest one doesnt. Wait till its a final release. BTW- Wireless headset? SO COOL!  |

the biggest difference I've discovered is between USB and plug-jacks
The plug jacks use the soundcard, and allows me a little more control over my mike (noise cancelling to reduce reverb from the speakers) the usb had no such setting.
I opted for sennhieser and can say they're very comfortable and work great which isn't surprising considering their experience. I paid $80, which is three times what a really nice logitech setup would be so I wouldnt say they were a bargain but both logitech were far less comfy and sounded like crap for music.

Be careful if you're going to buy a wireless headset with a built in mic. I know Logitech's very expensive bluetooth headset doesn't work in stereo if the mic is active. Although they may have released a better version since I last looked.
